Dong Hoi junior law college is founded on May 25th 2012 by the decision of the Minister of Justice. It is the first law academy in north-central region. It belongs to 5 law academies in the country that has duty to train the human resources on law. It participated in professional retraining on the fields in the range of government’s managerment.
In the first time, It has a lot of dificulties such as: its' organizational structure includes a rector, a vice- rector,five departments and three faculties but there are only 23 officers, public servants. There aren’t enough people to serve for the work.There are a lot of difficulties in infrastructure and equipment. It has to rent the head quarter of Quang Binh industrial - agricultural technical junior college to serve for teaching.
Dong Hoi junior law college has been developing day by day. Its’ facilities are invested to build in the direction of standardization when the leaders of Quang Binh Provincial People's
Committees deliver to it a plot which has the total area is 15,028 ha. It has celebrated groundbreaking ceremony in Bac Ly district , Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province. This is one of the modern construction in the Dong Hoi city. When it has perfected , it will meet the demand of studying and researching on law in the north-central region.
In 2016, the number of officers and servants is 41 members in which there are 22 teachers, 16 experts and 05 contract staffs.
Nowadays, it has training 5 courses with the total number of 1200 students. It has training Laos’ students with the total number of 300 students.
It has associated with the training institutions such as the Institute of Justice, Hanoi Law University, Vinh University to train other type of training such as: the second degree, professional lawyers. It organizated courses to train and foster law for officers, sevants who has the demand to learn
Teachers and students in Dong Hoi junior law college always try their best to improve the quality of education to contribute significantly to the education of the Province and North Central Provinces. It has been perfecting day by day to rise to new heights.
