As part of the implementation of legal aid activities under Subproject 1 (Capacity Building for Program Implementation) of Project 7 (Capacity Building, Monitoring and Evaluation of the Program) within the framework of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the 2021–2025 period, the Middle- region college of Law chaired the organization of a training conference titled "Intensive Module on Legal Aid Knowledge, Skills, and Professional Practices for the Poor and Vulnerable Groups to Enhance the Capacity of Legal Aid Providers and Related Organizations and Individuals in Quang Tri Province", held over two days on July 29th and 30th, 2025.

The training conference was attended by 300 participants, including commune-level officials, village heads, grassroots mass organization members, mediators, legal rapporteurs, and legal communicators from three communes: Dong Le, Tuyen Binh, and Tuyen Phu in Quang Tri Province. These participants form the core force in legal dissemination and education and in helping local residents access legal services at the grassroots level.

On behalf of Middle- region college of Law, Mr. Vo Khac Hoan, M.A., the College’s Rector, attended and delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of equipping grassroots officers with legal knowledge and skills to enhance the effectiveness of legal aid, ensuring the right to access justice for the people, especially the poor and vulnerable groups.
Within the program framework, trainees received training on six intensive thematic modules focusing on practical content. Notably, each module included active exchanges and discussions about real-life legal aid scenarios, highlighting various challenges and difficulties encountered in the local legal aid process. The trainers directly addressed questions, shared practical experiences, and proposed effective solutions tailored to the specific context of each locality.

Through this training program, participants were able to consolidate their professional knowledge, improve practical skills, and gain a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities in helping people access legal services. The training activity not only contributes to improving the effectiveness of local legal aid work but also aims to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of the poor and vulnerable—those who need legal protection and support the most in society.
