Traditional Bunpimay Festival organized for over 250 Lao students in Dong Hoi Junior Law College
TUEsday - 17/04/2018 10:25On April 13rd and 14th, Laos traditional Bunpimay (or New Year) Festival 2018 was organized by Dong Hoi Junior Law College for over 250 Lao students studying in school attended at the event.
Laos traditional Bunpimay (or New Year) Festival 2018 was formally held with traditional rites, which brought Lao students a chance to enjoy the warm and cheerful New Year atmosphere of Laos in Vietnam.
Attending the festival, delegates and Lao students joined in peace-praying ceremony, water-splashing ceremony, thread-tying ceremony and Lam-vong dance; wished everyone a year of health, peace and good fortune. The New Year celebration program was an opportunity for Lao students not only to celebrate traditional New Year Festival, but also to get motivation in study and daily life. Besides, it helped strengthen the friendship, solidarity between Vietnam and Lao People's Democratic Republic.
To express the love, concern and responsibility of the school and encourage the learning spirit of Lao students, Quang Binh Border Guards Command and Con Roang Border Guard Station also gave New Year gifts to the students. On this occasion, Eurowindow Joint Stock Company has also contributed to the "Laos Student Support Fund" with the amount of 50.000.000 vnd (50 million vnd).
